Motivation and Moderation are key to long term diet and fitness success. Take little steps. It is best to not “bite off more than you can chew” and then become disappointed, reverting to back to unhealthy behaviors. Motivate yourself using rewards every step of the way. Set goals and rewards. For instance, “When I lose 5 lbs, I will reward myself with a new pair of shoes.” Set your own rewards based on what you really, desire and follow through. Be moderate in rewards and find a middle place. Stop going to extremes. Fats, Oils and Sweets – use sparingly. Stay moderate. You don’t need to run a marathon every day in order to get exercise.
