Did you know that too much salt can sabotage healthy eating success and your good health? It’s essential that we take in less than 2,300 milligrams of sodium a day (about 1 teaspoon of salt) and if you’re over the age of 50, that amount needs to decrease by half. One of the best ways to avoid too much salt in your diet is to avoid processed foods. Fresh fruits and vegetables are basically salt free and smarter daily choices. Don’t be fooled by restaurants that use more salt either, think fresh and reach success!
